I talked to long time Treasure Coaster and friend Jim/KD4BO yesterday. He has been the regular Tuesday NCS for years. Jim has been missing from the net for several months now. He currently has spinal stenosis affecting at least two lover back vertebrae. He is mostly confined to bed because that is the only place he gets relief from pain. He had his first appointment wit a UAB doc on June 17 and now is scheduled to meet with a surgeon with them again August 2. Just The three hour drive from his home to Birmingham is extremely painful. I will try to keep y’all informed. Please keep Jim in your thoughts and prayers.
I hate to hear that about anyone, but especially a great guy like Jim, I wish him some relief sooner than later.
