I will be participating in another Boy Scout event on Tuesday, 6/3 at 7:45p CT. This event is an introduction to ham radio to 20 – 30 Boy Scouts, including their parents. We will have 2 HF station, 1 VHF station working a local repeater and 1 DMR station. Every scout will have an opportunity to make a contact at each station. The event lasts 45 minutes, so the contacts are relatively short.
I will be manning the DMR station this time and our current plan is to use Brandmeister’s TG3100 (USA Bridge) for the event.
If any Treasurecoaster members can get on the air and support the event by making contact with the scouts, that would be fantastic.
The 2 primary HF frequencies are 14.328 MHz and 7.180 MHz. I will be on DMR on TG3100.
