Here is an update I just received from Lowell, NY4D. Please remember Lowell in your prayers. this is a repost from Facebook:
“From fb – last night I finally posted. Know you’re not on there any more. – As many of you know I have been awaiting chemotherapy for Pancreatic Cancer for a month or so.
This has been complicated by upper and lower GI issues (2 ER trips with subsequent admits), a Pulmonary Embolism and recovery from same – transfer from Candler to St Joseph CCU, and recovery from at St Joe.
This is all an effort to get my at home chemotherapy started asap.
While GI, Pain, Cardiac, PT folks, home health care, etc. wait in the ings it has been a challenge to make the medical system work for my needs.
Good days are good, bad days are bad yet there seems to be no in-between.
Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I know that tends to sound trite and meaningless but knowing folks are on your side DOES make a difference!
