I just exchanged text messages with Joe/K4PX. The good news is that he is making progress. This must have been some ordeal. He is still in the hospital. Her’s is his text message to me. I am sure he won’t mind me sharing. and please keep him in your prayers.
“Hello Ed, thanks for reaching out. Things are a bit busy in my hospital room right now. They’re getting ready to take out my chest tubes shortly thank goodness. The thoracic surgery went well to clear all of the fluid and other matter from my lung area my right lung has responded and is no longer collapsed. The pneumonia is under control as well. Anyway there’s a slight chance I might go home tomorrow, but thanks again to you and all the guys for your prayers keep on praying this is not over yet please and I hope to be on the air soon. Thank you.”
